Jean Hall of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at her residence.

She was born April 24, 1935 in Walton County to the late Earl & Claudie Mae (Spann) Mauldin; and she came here from Darlington 60 years ago. She retired from Citrus World after 37 years and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends, her favorite hobby was spending time with her grandkids and she continued the family tradition of Sunday lunches.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Hughie Hall and one great-grandchild, Leann. Survivors include her daughters, Vivian Hartzell (John) of Lake Wales and Claudia Karg (Matt) of Vail, AZ; son, Jimmy Hall (Theresa) of Mulberry; sister-in-law, Betty Mauldin of Lake Wales; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday, August 17, 2012 and the funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Rev. Stephen Bolden officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
